Henry Gray is a stone carver and artist rooted in traditional craft. He specialises in the design and crafting of memorials and inscriptions, and teaching stone carving. He trained at Weymouth College where he studied masonry, architectural carving, and letter cutting. He has been carving for nearly 3 decades and he notably contributed to restoring the West Front of Salisbury Cathedral. For the past 12 years, Henry has operated his own studio, creating bespoke commissions while sharing his skills with others. He values close collaboration with clients to produce unique pieces. Notably, Henry's dedication to the practice of meditation influences the quality of his work, infusing it with a sense of tranquillity and depth that resonates with those who encounter his creations.
