Rolling programme of exhibiting opportunities at the Salisbury Medical Centre throught the year
The next group of Plain Arts members set up their work on Monday 8th July.
The exhibition will run through until the end of October.
We have now been organising a rolling programme of exhibitions since the centre opened on the Wilton Road.
The Practice has conducted a number of surveys and they have found how valued and
appreciated this project is to both the staff and patients. It's free to exhibit and the wall spaces are excellent
for showing your work to a very large audience.
Exhibiting opportunities at Waterstones Bookshop throughout the year
Plain Arts is continuing working with Waterstones to provide artists who might want to take the opportunity
to exhibit in their store. It costs just £20 which you pay directly to the Manager at Waterstones.
The following dates are currently available:
6th October - 3rd November (Back Stairs) / January 12th - February 9th (Back Stairs)
Exhibiting opportunities at 5 Rivers leisure centre throughout the year
Exhibiting opportunities at Boston Tea Party throughout the year
Exhibiting opportunity at Three Chequers Surgery
We were able to supply a Plain Arts member for the original request from the surgery.
A new opportunity has just arisen and they are looking for someone to exhib their work.
Its a very busy surgery in Endless Street and a great opportunity to get your work out there.

Art on Postcards
Plain Arts has been approached by Salisbury Museum to work with them on this fascinating project.
The Museum in partnership with the Friends of Erlestoke are approaching artists, musicians, actors
and writers to invite them to create a small drawing, photograph or painting on a postcard.
The public will have the opportunity to buy a voucher that will be randomly matched to a postcard - a creative lucky dip.
On the 25th October 2019 the postcards will be displayed at the Museum and during an evening event,
the postcard will be allocated to their new owners. The remainder of the evening will be an auction of wonderful artworks
donated to the campaign by leading artists. In this way funds will be raised for Erlestoke prison and
Salisbury Museum supporting their journey towards securing a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
If you would like to take part in this fascinating project, all you have to do is to create a piece of art on a postcard
or postcard size ( postcards can be supplied if required).
Completed Postcards should be sent to Megan Fowler the Collections manager at the Salisbury Museum
or you can drop them into the Museum.
You can also donate or submit artwork for the auction
Please do not hesitate to contact Plain Arts if you need any additional information
