A.Barber 1Annie Barber
After studying Graphic Communication at UCA Farnham and spending a brief spell in industry, I realised my absolute love for teaching. I have now been teaching Design and Technology for nearly 10 years and when I am not teaching or being mummy to 'The Bears', I spend time in my garden studio overlooking the valley up to Old Sarum Castle. My work is inspired by my bears, family time and making memories. Most recently I have been working in brush and ink, taking inspiration from my own photographs. My most loved illustrations get transferred onto hand etched printing plates which I run through my Victorian mangle printing press conversion to produce beautiful intaglio prints. I can often be found in my garden studio with a cup of tea and at least one bear in tow! Annie and The Bears
