I've been addicted to painting for many years. It has been a joy, a struggle and a lifeline when I've needed to express deep feelings. I love the created natural world which I portray often in vibrant colours to depict land, sea, sky, flowers and Biblical inspiration.
I had the good fortune of learning pastel with the late Christopher Assheton Stones, and also enjoy acrylics and mixed media. I've exhibited work many times, and received awards, including the Artcare Open Prize last year. I run an informal Community art and craft group monthly from St Pauls Church.
