Rowena O'Connor
Rowena is a professionally trained artist who creates upbeat, optimistic floral paintings in acrylic gouache.
Rowena uses floral still life as a means to investigate shape and the resulting negative space, along with the play of different colours and how they appear next to each other.
Acrylic gouache is her chosen medium for the vibrant colours they provide and the flat, brush-stroke free areas of colour they can produce.
