My paintings derive from a deep sense of love for nature. Our lives are often overloaded and iit is my desire to produce paintings that bring hope and peace in a busy world. I am passionate about the beauty that surrounds us and take pleasure in painting landscapes in a semi-realistic, impressionistic way. I always seek to capture an atmosphere, whether that’s stillness, awe, joy or tranquility. I use multiple layers, mediums and colours to create soothing moods to escape into.
