Alison started printmaking about six years ago when she joined a printmaking course at Trowbridge College. Over the years she has devoted more and more of her time to printmaking and has now established her own studio at home. Most of her work is lino printing but she also uses drypoint and collagraph techniques. The local countryside and architecture provide most of the inspiration for her printing and she now has a permanent exhibition of her work in the Kingfisher Cafe at the Langford Lakes Nature Reserve in Steeple Langford. Alison sells most of her work for local charities including the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and the Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal.
