I am a self taught artist and paint primarily landscapes, preferably in oil, and occasionally in acrylic and watercolour.

I enjoy painting landscapes and seascapes based on the journeys and places I have visited, trying to capture the visual effects created by the light on the landscape and seascape.
I aim to show the benefit of preserving the landscape and seascape with every painting.

I am a member of Salisbury Plain Arts and Salisbury Group of Artists. I am based in southern Wiltshire, England.

Prior to taking up landscape painting I spent a very long time looking after equipment that others used to keep our bodies and souls together.

I have always had an interest in drawing and painting and I am mainly self-taught.

I do at times find that using the artistic creative cranial hemisphere can create the odd challenge after being in a technical environment for so long.
